End False Alarms

The Sarasota Sheriff's Office wants to remind everyone that Sarasota County ordinance No. 97-115 states: The person having or maintaining a burglary alarm system is required to pay a fee of $25 to reimburse Sarasota County for each response to a false alarm, regardless of the cause thereof, after the first three responses in each six month period. The Sheriff may order any person having or maintaining a burglary alarm systems to disconnect said system if that system constantly malfunctions.
